Attorney Juan David Echevarría Nieves is an attorney and notary public licensed in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He is also a VA-accredited attorney before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and is admitted to the U.S. Tax Court. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Universidad Metropolitana, summa cum laude, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, summa cum laude. He earned his Juris Doctor from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico. A veteran with over two decades of service in the U.S. Army and the Puerto Rico Army National Guard, he rose to the rank of First Sergeant (1SG), holding leadership roles in recruitment, retention, and career transition and guiding the professional paths of thousands of soldiers. His service earned decorations including the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (5th Award), and the Army Achievement Medal. That discipline, rigorous preparation, and commitment to the mission define his legal practice today and give him firsthand insight into the challenges veterans and their families face.
